The price depends on what is causing the problem, the type of roof, how much timber, sheeting or tiling needs replacing, and how easy it is to reach. Waterproofing on its own is a short-term patch. It has a limited life span in our harsh, dry winters, and heavy waterproofing traps water and rusts metal sheets. We fix the structure first and use waterproofing as a finishing layer.

Mainly metal roofs, and a wide variety of clay and cement tiled roofs. We also repair and replace roof timbers, and build patio roofs, carports and lean-tos.

We fix the root cause so that the repair lasts, and we will explain exactly what is covered when we quote. One honest exception is hail: when hail packs into a roof valley it freezes solid and rain backs up behind it, so no roofer can guarantee against leaks caused by that.

Not always. If a temporary fix is needed to stop the water, we will tell you so, and explain what the permanent repair involves and what it will cost.

We would rather you did not. Tiles crack easily underfoot, especially older cement tiles, and a wet roof is dangerous. Take photos from a ladder or from the ground and WhatsApp them to us.

Whatever the roof needs. Often only some sheets are damaged, and we will tell you honestly if the rest still have life in them.

It can be. Sagging usually means timbers have moved, rotted or been overloaded. Have it checked before the rains, and do not store heavy items in the roof space above it.

Yes. We spray or hand paint with any paint you prefer. If you would like a recommendation, we have found Dulux Roof Guard to be the best all round.

Not when it is used properly, as a finishing layer over a sound repair. It is a waste when it is used to cover up a problem that is still there underneath.

Yes. We can build skylights and polycarbonate panels into a roof to bring in natural light, with the flashings done properly so they do not leak.
